The Securities and Exchange Board of India was constituted as a non-statutory body on April 12, 1988 through a resolution of the Government of India. They required a virtual museum of Indian Securities Market that would be built in the 3D walkthrough environment giving visitors the feel and experience of visiting the actual physical museum.
